Senior ladies
Congratulations to our senior ladies team who got the better of Eoghan Rua in the intermediate championship semi-final on Sunday morning. The ladies were dominant from start to finish, leading 6-8 to 3-5 at half time before pushing on to win by 8-17 to 3-10. Next Sunday 14th August they play Eastern Harps in the intermediate championship final at 2pm in Enniscrone. Come out and support!
Senior men
Our senior men get their championship campaign underway next Saturday August 13th. They take on Tubbercurry on Saturday evening at 7pm in Markievicz Park.
U19 boys
The U19 boys team are in ‘A’ championship semi-final action on Wednesday evening. They travel to St. Molaise Gaels at 7pm.
‘Cúl Eile’ Cúl Camp
We were delighted to host the ‘Cúl Mile’ inclusivity Cúl Camp last week in Kent Park. The camp catered for children with additional needs in the first of it’s kind in Sligo. A big thanks to all coaches and volunteers who supported the initiative and gave up their time to ensure the camp was a success. In particular we are very grateful for all the work of Maggie Heylin who was instrumental in arranging the camp, and the support from Sligo GAA Coaching throughout.
