Best of Luck
Congratulations to the Sligo U20s on a fantastic win over Galway in what was a closely contested Eirgrid Connacht Championship Final. This marked a huge achievement by all involved. Best of luck to club representatives Ronan Niland, Robert O’Kelly Lynch, Zaak Mahon and Fionn O’Hehir as they prepare to meet the Munster Champions in an All-Ireland semi-final scheduled for Saturday 6th May (venue to be arranged).
Congratulations to the Sligo Seniors for securing their place in this year’s Senior Inter-County Connacht Championship final against Galway on 7th May (venue to be arranged). Wishing Paul Kilcoyne, David Philips, Gerard O’Kelly Lynch, Nathan Rooney and Luke Nicholson all the best as they prepare for the challenge.

Fundraiser Presentation
The proceeds raised by the club’s 24-hour Fun Run fundraiser, held on November 11th, were recently presented to Sligo Cancer Support Services and St. Cecilia’s School. These organisations were presented with a cheque for €5,000 each. A presentation was also made to Stephen Mullen of Sligo Haulage and Distribution Ltd, in recognition of their sponsorship of the event.
Saturday Morning Coaching
Saturday Morning Coaching continues on April 29th at 10.45. All boys and girls U6 to U11 are welcome. No previous experience required! The sessions offer children the opportunity to learn the basics in a fun and safe environment. Club officers will be available in the clubhouse at this time to lend assistance to anyone hoping to register with the club.
Retired Group
The retired group continue to meet in the clubhouse every Tuesday morning at 11 o’clock. This offers retired players, club members old and new, friends and neighbours the opportunity to catch up over a cup of tea/coffee. All are welcome.
