Tráth na gCeist
Congratulations to the Naomh Mhuire Scór na nÓg Tráth na gCeist team. Treasa Ní Cheallaigh-Lionsigh, Aimee Ní Chathain, Sean Ó Scanláin and Padraig Ó Murchú now go on to represent St. Marys at the Connacht Scór na nÓg Finals which will be held in Ballinasloe on Sunday April 16th.
Saturday Morning Coaching
Saturday Morning Coaching resumes on April 22nd at 10.45. Club officers will be available in the clubhouse at this time to lend assistance to anyone hoping to register with the club.
Connacht Championship Preview Night
A big thank you to Ocean FM and Austin O’Callaghan for hosting our fundraiser for the Sligo Cancer Support Centre at the clubhouse on Wednesday 5th April. We welcomed a distinguished panel of guests for Connacht Championship Preview Night. John O’Mahony, Barney Breen, Eamonn O’Hara, Martin Carney and Shane Curran shared their thoughts on the upcoming provincial championship in what was a very enjoyable night’s entertainment.
Easter Camp
Wishing Club Development Officer Niall Feehily, Coaching Officer Glenn Young, Transition Year student volunteers and all participants the best of luck with the inaugural St. Marys GAA Easter Camp which runs from Tuesday 11th to Friday 14th April from 10am to 2pm.
Retired Group
The retired group continue to meet in the clubhouse every Tuesday morning at 11 o’clock. This offers retired players, club members old and new, friends and neighbours the opportunity to catch up over a cup of tea/coffee. All are welcome.
New Season
The new season is well underway at this stage. The best of luck to everyone representing the club this year in all competitions.
