Senior men
Our senior men contest the county final against Tourlestrane this coming Sunday, October 16th. Tourlestrane are 6-in-a-row champions and favourites to retain the title, so we need big support to turn out on the day in red and black. We have club gear and flags on sale in the Clubhouse on Tuesday evening October 11th from 7-9pm. Get your flags out this week in support and use the #MarysArmy to show us! Ahead of the game, Ocean FM are doing an ‘Up For The Match’ show in the Clubhouse on Thursday from 8-9pm. A huge word of thanks must go to Phillips Medisize for sponsoring our senior mens team this year. We were delighted to partner with them earlier in 2022 and their support has been incredibly generous and highly appreciated. Throw-in on Sunday is 3.30pm and tickets are available here.
Senior ladies
Boyle have been confirmed as the opponents for our senior ladies Connacht Intermediate Championship Quarter Final. We host the game in Kent Park on Saturday October 22nd at 1pm. Make sure you are available to come out and support them, get your tickets here now!
Minor boys
Best of luck to our minor boys who contest the ‘A’ Championship Final before the senior mens game on Sunday! This game is a repeat of the league final which was highly entertaining and saw us claim a narrow victory. It is an historic occasion to have our minor and senior teams competing in the finals on the same day. There are six families with members on both teams – O’Hehirs, O’Kelly-Lynches, Nilands, Flynns, Cliffords and Rooneys. Cosgrove’s Centra Maugheraboy have been the generous sponsors of our minor boys team and recently shared an excellent good luck video – see it here. Thanks Des, Martha and all in Centra!

Club shop
There is a club shop selling club merchandise, gear and flags taking place Tuesday, 7-9pm in the Clubhouse. A big thanks to John Kent for hosting the shop and offering a 20% discount on county final week. Call up and get your St. Mary’s gear ahead of the finals this Sunday and the ladies Connacht Intermediate Championship Quarter Final on October 22nd. No excuse not to have your flags out and red and black on!
Quiz night
There is a quiz night taking place on this Friday October 14th in the Clubhouse as we continue our build up to the county finals. The proceeds are all in aid of our senior mens, senior ladies and minor boys teams who are contesting massive games over the coming two weeks. Come up for the evening and show your support – throw-in is 9pm.
St. Mary’s All Stars Halloween Camp
We are running a one day Halloween camp for our St. Mary’s All Stars! It will take place on November 3rd for kids with additional needs and their families. More details to follow over the coming weeks.
Weekly walks
Our weekly walk will take place on Thursday, 13th October, this week. Meet at 8pm in St. Mary’s!
