U8 girls blitz
Last weekend we hosted our first St. Mary’s GAA U8 Girls Blitz which was a massive success for all involved. We welcomed Calry/St. Joseph’s, Coolera/Strandhill, Drumcliffe/Rosses Point, Shamrock Gaels, St. Molaise Gaels & St. Johns. A big thanks to all the players who took part in the blitz – there was some great skills and effort on show. Thanks also to all the coaches & parents of visiting clubs for their support, and not to forget all the parents and volunteers in St. Marys, who helped to make it a memorable event!
St. Mary’s All Stars
We had our first weekend of the St. Mary’s All Stars programme which runs every Saturday in September. The programme offers coaching and un for kids with additional needs in an enjoyable environment. A big thanks to Shane Hayes from Sligo Sports Partnership who provided some great training and tips for our wonderful All Stars coaches last week in preparation. Looking forward to week two this weekend and you can book your place through Maggie Heylin on 086 1228104 or hmaggie637@gmail.com
