We are delighted to host the inaugural St. Mary’s U8 Girls Football Blitz.
The 7-a-side blitz will take place in Kent Park on Saturday, September 3rd 2022 from 1 – 3pm. Games will be held on Kent Park main pitch Dick Kent Park, and on our training pitch. There are six teams taking part on the day: Coolera/Strandhill, Drumcliffe/Rosses Point, Shamrock Gaels, St. Molaise Gaels, St. John’s, and St. Mary’s.
On the day, each club will field two 7-a-side teams, and each team will play five matches. There will be six pitches allowing games to take place at the same time, and there will be unlimited substitutions. When all games are complete we will have a presentation for players on Dick Kent Park.
There will be toilet facilities, teas and coffees available in the clubhouse, while stewards will be on-hand to assist with car parking and queries. We ask that parents refrain from entering the playing area so that the competition can run in a smooth, friendly and enjoyable manner.
