Senior Men

Hard luck to our senior men’s team who were beaten by Coolera/Strandhill in round 3 of the Senior Football Championship. Our final game of the group stages is against Tubbercurry on Saturday 18th September.

Senior Ladies

Good luck to our senior ladies team who face Geevagh in round 2 of the championship this weekend. Throw-in is at 10.30am on Sunday in Geevagh.

Junior Men

Our junior team were beaten by Owenmore Gaels 2-12 to 2-10 in round 2 of the Junior A Championship. The last group game see’s us face Coolaney/Mullinabreena on Sunday 19th September.

U14 Girls

The U14 girls played their re-fixed game against Tourlestrane last Thursday 2nd September out in Tourlestrane. It was a tough game for the girls against a very physical side but as the game progressed the girls held their own winning 4-9 to 1-8. Tourlestrane is not an easy pitch to play in so credit to all the girls who put in a huge effort.
The girls also played their last group game against Shamrock Gaels on Saturday evening in what was a very entertaining, nailing-biting, and physical game. The girls came out on top with 6 points to spare winning 4-11 to 4-5. After conceding 2 goals in the first 5 minutes, they were relentless and never gave up. They worked tirelessly up and down the field for 60 minutes. The girls are deservedly straight through to the final on September 25th.

U13 Boys

Hard luck to our U13 boys who were beaten by St. John’s in the ‘A’ Cup Final. The game finished 3-9 to 1-6 and their was fantastic skills and talent on show from both sides. St. John’s were deserved winners on the night, but credit to our boys they fought right to the end. The younger U13 side play the ‘C’ final on Wednesday night, 8th September – good luck!!

All-Ireland Final Tickets

Our draw to win two tickets to the All-Ireland final plus a night in The Mespil Hotel, Dublin takes place on Wednesday evening. You can still purchase tickets for the draw here. Don’t miss out on your last chance to get to the big game!!
