Senior men
Hard luck to our senior men’s team who were beaten in the first game of the championship by Curry. The game finished 1-15 to 1-10 in Nace O’Dowd Park. Well done to Fionn O’Hehir, Eamon Flynn, Patrick Maher, Mark Mulhern, Emlyn Mulligan and David Phillips on making their senior championship debuts for the club. Next up is Calry/St. Joseph’s in round 2 this coming Friday. Throw in is at 7pm in Markievicz Park.
Senior Ladies Sponsorship
St Mary’s GAA Club are delighted to announce Sligo Credit Union as the sponsors of our ladies Senior team.
The ladies section is the fastest growing section of our club with over 220 active members and this year we fielded a second adult team for the first time in the history of the club as well as teams from Under 8 to Under 18.
We would like to thank Sligo Credit Union for their support and wish them well in their new building on Wine St. Sligo Credit Union offers a variety of services and will soon be launching a full-service current account, see www.sligocu.ie for more information.
Junior Men
Our junior men get their championship campaign underway this coming weekend against Shamrock Gaels. The game throws in at 2pm on Sunday 22nd August in Oxfield. Best of luck lads.
Sligo Minors
The very best of luck to Sligo minors and the 5 St. Mary’s representatives in the All- Ireland Semi Final vs Meath on Saturday. We are very proud of Ronan Niland, Ronan O’Hehir, Robert O’Kelly-Lynch, Saeedi Tumuheirwe and Max Burns Flynn. Good luck to team and management!
Club Sligo Fundraiser
