Next up is championship, throwing in against Curry on Saturday 14th August at 7pm in Nace O’Dowd Park.

Senior ladies

Our senior ladies team play Tourlestrane in the league semi final next weekend. The game is away on Sunday 8th of August.

Junior men

The junior men’s team were beaten after a last minute penalty went against them. An enthralling game finished 3-9 to 0-16 to St. Pat’s, with Patrick Maher top scoring for our side with 7 points. Defeat means that we now play Shamrock Gaels junior team in the relegation final next Sunday at 5pm in Scarden.

U14 Girls

Congratulations to our U14 girls who are league champions! The girls were crowned division 2 league winners on Saturday evening against Tourlestrane in front of a big crowd of St Mary’s supporters. The game finished on a scoreline of 5-11 to 2-8

The girls were unbeaten in the league campaign so it was only right they continued their unbeaten run to win the league. They played their hearts out, working tirelessly up and down the pitch for 60 minutes. This group have put in a huge effort over the last number of months and have the championship to look forward to now. It is a very young team with only three U14 players, the rest of the team a mix of U13 and U12 girls so they can all be very proud of themselves and look forward to a bright future of football. After the game captain Caoimhe Morgan lifted the cup.
