Senior men
Our senior men beat Calry/St. Josephs in an exciting contest in Hazelwood on Saturday night. In a free-flowing game of attacking football we emerged victorious on a scoreline on 1-14 to 2-10. Our youthful side competed excellently throughout and showed glimpses of top-class football. Congratulations must go to Mark Mulhern who made his debut in goals and equitted himself well, and a big welcome back to Cian Breheny from injury who came on in the second half and had a positive impact on the game.

Senior & Junior Men’s Championship Draws
The draws for both the senior and junior men’s football championships were made on Thursday night. Our senior team were drawn in group one along with Coolera/Strandhill, Calry/St. Josephs, Tubbercurry and Curry. The first games take place on the weekend of August 14/15th and the top two will make the semi finals.
Our junior men’s team were drawn in group two of the Connacht Gold Junior A Football Championship. We will face Owenmore Gaels, Shamrock Gaels B, and Coolaney/Mullinabreena B in the battle to reach the knockout stages. The first round of games is on August 21st/22nd.
U15 Boys
U14 Girls
The U14 girls played Coolera/Strandhill on Thursday evening last. Despite the wet conditions the girls put in a strong performance winning 5-16 to 1-2. The girls remain unbeaten in the league and have progressed to the U14 final with a game in hand. Next up the girls play St Farnans at home on Thursday evening at 7pm
U13 Boys
Well done to both U13 boys panels on two wins away to Ballymote/Bunninadden. Both teams remain unbeaten in the competition to date and all panel members got plenty of game time again. Thanks to all parents who travelled out to support.
U7 Boys
Well done to our U7 boys who made their debuts on Monday evening vs Shamrock Gaels. Thanks and well done to Brían O’Donnell who is managing the side and has them playing football with smiles on their faces. They are a magnificent group to keep an eye on. Stars of the future!
