The game ended 7-15 to 5-6 in Kent Park with our ladies displaying fantastic skill and determination in a great team performance. Well done to all players, management and supporters who have worked tirelessly all year to reach the big day. The final takes place at 1pm on Saturday in Collooney – let’s get out and support the team in big numbers!

Junior ladies

The senior game was followed by a second victory of the day when our junior ladies team also beat Eoghan Rua. After trailing by four points at the break, we rallied and showed great character to win the game on a scoreline of 7-13 to 5-5. This was their first game in a three-team playoff to reach the semi final. Next weekend we face Drumcliffe/Rosses-Point in a winner-takes-all clash to reach the semi final. Well done to Sarah Corcoran, Sinead Moore and Liadan Ruddy who made their adult football debuts at short notice.
